Robin,
I do not have an Elsie Rahn in my files. My Rahns came from Red Bud Illinois and I have lots of them if you are interested. My grand father was Peter Victor Rahn born 21 Dec 1891 in Red Bud, Illinois. His father was Nicholas, born 18 May 1854 in Horse Prairie, Randolph Co., Ill. His father was Phillip Peter Rahn, born 11 Dec 1826 in Hassloch, Reinland, Pfalz, Germany. His father Jacob Rahn born 1791, Hassloch, Reinland, Pfalz, Germany. His father was also Jacob, born 1762, Hassloch.
I have many others if any of these names sound like famly names or familiar names.
My grandfather moved to St. Louis while young and reared his family there. My dad, Floyd Charles Rahn is still alive (80 years) and lives in St. Charles, Mo.
Keepin touch. I don't hear from many Rahns.
There is a man in my church that is a Rahn, but I don't see him often.I keep wanting to talk to him about his line.
Barbara Rahn Breeding
