Raidon/Riadon/Ryden/Rydon - KY

Looking for information on the Raidon/Riadon/Ryden/Rydon families (various spellings of the families found) of Bath Co. KY and Montgomery Co. Ky.

Bath Co. Marriages
In 1845 Sylvestor Robinson married Martha Raidon Bondsman George Raidon.

In 1854 Harvey Raidon married Nancy Brashaw.

In 1856 Elizabeth Raidon married Walter Karrick. His record states he was born in Bath Co. and she was Elizabeth Rydon age 30 born in Montgomery CO. KY

A Samuel Raidon married Angelina Raburn in 1845.

In the 1850 Census for Bath County. George Ryden is found age 49, b. KY married to Nancy age 49, children: Elizabeth, age 22, Emily age 20, Harvie age 21, William age 11, Jane age 13, Nancy age 12, Louellen age 8, Martha A, age 7 months.

At first I though my Martha might have been a daughter of George, but since there is a 7 month old Martha A living in his family, I doubt if this is true. It could be my Martha is a younger sister. She was born abt 1826. The Samuel I found may be a brother or son of George.

I could find no version of this name in Montgomery Co by 1850, it could be that George and the ones that came to Bath Co. were the only ones there. I did find the name Ryden in Fleming Co. and I found a marriage of a Thomas Riadon to a Nancy Sharp in 1808 in Fayette Co., but don't know if there is a connection.

Any information would be appreciated.
