Thanks Andy,

That's very interesting, apparently since Massam it not meant to be a common surname. I believe Rainford isn't either.

My Grandmother a Massam was called Agnes, her brothers and sisters are Dick (88), Nancy(85)
Ellen(not sure of) George(deceased) and Panny(Sister Leo 82). They had a Uncle called John whom 3 kids, Katie, Nelie and John.
