i have been in touch with a distant relative who had the rainford family tree done profeshionally however there are errors in it . it goes back to 1700 ish back through john rainford and mary philips i myself researched all the rainfords on the 1901 census records for this area plus the census 's for1841'51'61'71'81'91'at the local referance library and was able to discover how each person was related made fairly easdy by the fact that most branchs stayed in the hoylake westkirby area in got a list of all rainfords born in the area from the early 1800's on the cheshire b.m.d and was able to cross reference this with all the other info and built up a profile of them .
