Simon,

Arthur was a Geologist in Linton nr Skipton. Very well respected. Many published books.

He was a Quaker, founder of the National Parks Movement.

John Urpeth Rastrick was the railway man. He built the Argonoria (first passenger steam locomotive), The Stourbridge Lion - the first steam engine on American soil, the Iron Bridge at Chepstow and the London to Brighton Railway.
