Hello, I'm doing research for a friend of mine, Carol Rake. Her father was Kenneth Harrison Rake, his father was Guy H. Rake, his father was Joseph F. Rake and his father was Asher. I've been able to find Asher on a 1860 census in Illinois with wife Clara and children Joseph H., b. ca.1855, Samuel b. ca.1857 and Caroline b. ca.1859. all born in Illinois. I have the mother Clara born in Penn. in 1831. Asher born in Pennsylvania in ca. 1831. If you could help me figure out the right information on Asher I would greatly appreciate it. Colleen Rowe
