HI
I am interested in your posting concerning Elam Dillon. We have an Elam born in Ohio in 1885, parents William G. and Hattie Dillon. Some of this family may have been in Jackson County at some time. This Elam was married to Lillian Hall, had a large family, which he later deserted. The story is that he married again, had another family, and was a US marshal.
Could this be the same Elam who married Sarah Rake?
Thank you.
