My g-g-grandfather John James Raley states that he came to Texas in 1831. I would very much like to learn of his life prior to this -- who his parents were, any siblings, etc. His date of birth is Sept. 13, 1796. He said that he was born in Georgia and that he came to Texas in 1831, that would make him around 35 yrs. old. In 1845 he would be 49 years old and he gets married in Jefferson Co., TX. I am hoping my John is your missing son or sibling in your Raley line and we can help one another.Please contact me at storm@viptx.net.
