Lola,
My great-grandfather Charles Raley came from Warren County Georgia to Tallapoosa County Alabama around 1875. He and my great-grandmother(Elmira)lived in Tallapoosa County the rest of their lives. Elimira died in 1919 and Charles died in 1930. Henry had to be related to Charles but I just can't find out how they were related. The decendants of Charles(including me) have remained in Alabama, mostly central and south Alabama. The name Raley changed to Railey numerous times in the US Census but finally stayed Railey from the 1920 Census on. I am still not 100% sure on who Charles Raley's father is. If I find any more info on Henry and Frances, I will let you know.
