i have some new info to share. let me start with severa trevino ramirez. for severa ramirez i have four dates which indicate there were two. one is dated born 1830 from the 1880 census. but there is no other record of her.
the severa you found in the cemetary you gave as born 1840.
this would seem to be more close to the 1830 severa.
the other severa from the 1880 census is listed as born 1861
and i found severa trevino ramirez birth record listed as 1866. severa trevino ramirez's mother andrea ramirez cuellar
was born 1843 and married clemente trevino in 1863. andrea 's father is jose antonio ramirez born 1808 and her mother is josepha cuellar and they were married abt 1828. jose antonio ramirez born 1808 father is jose antonio ramirez born 1784 and his mother is dolores castillo.
jose antonio ramirez born 1784 father is jose antonio ramirez born 1747 mier tama. and his mother is jose 1747 first wife catalina or catarina vela and they were married in 1760 both at age of 13. jose antonio ramirez born 1747 father is jose cristobal xptobal ramirez and his second wife matiana hinojosa chapa. as for melecio hinojosa there are two birth dates given for him. one is your dec 6 1869 roma and the other is 1878 mier. his birth record states vicente inojosa as his father and teresa o. de martinez as his mother.this vicente inojosa's wife is given as maria candelaria lopez and they were married 10 may 1838 at cerralvo n. l.. sabas hinojosa's father is jose antonio hinojosa canales and his mother is susana barrera de la garza. jose antonio hinojosa canales' and vicente inojosa's father is vicente hinojosa and their mother is maria feliciana canales and vicente and maria feliciana were married 11 jan 1778 cerralvo n. l. . there was a project known as saga the spanish american genealogical association that i was told was going to make the records from the catholic church available at the local libraries in south texas but have not heard any more about it. also saga had a web site where the records for each city were available for purchase but that site is no longer active. one of our relatives that wrote me awhile back talked about going through church records for her info. i will look up her letters and give you her e-mail address.
