Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
First, unfortunately I do not have the answers to your questions. However, in reviewing your information, I think I MAY have struck some paydirt that answers a mystery in my own research. What do you think of Diana Ramsbottom, dau of Thomas & Magdalene Baker being Dina Rausbottom? The latter name appears as the mother of William Tullis of Wyandot Co OH, whose remains were "shipped overland" back to Allen Co. OH. This brings me my second point and the marriage of Simeon Ramsbottom to Rebecca Tillis in Champaign Co. OH. I think her maiden name was Tullis (this is, incidentally, the name I'm researching). There appear to be Rausbottoms--very few--practically all b. VA, which leads me to think these are all variants, likely due to the legibility of cursive script. In any event, the search for Dina/Diana/Dinah brought me to you, and about whom I can provide a little info including her Tullis inlaws---if I am correct. I note you have also posted on RootsWeb. Please contact me directly if you would like to pursue.
