Im trying to trace my family tree. The name I have come across is Henry Ramsbottom who was born in Haslingden, Rossendale, Lancashire, England in 1840. He married Elizabeth Bentley who was born in 1853. Their children where Annie (married William arthur Cooper)b.1886, Ernest Bentley Ramsbottom b.1888 and Frances Martha (married Ernest Greenhalgh)b. unknown.
When Henry's wife died he married her sister Selina Bentley at Altham Parish Church where there are records held. This family is tied in with Bentley, Carroll, Cooper, Pollard and Starkie. Is there anyone out there with the same links.
