Does anyone have any information on James Randals/Randalls that was in the White County area ca.1806-aft.1817? He was a Captain near the end of the War of 1812 and served under Colonel Steele. He was stationed at Fort Strother in Alabama while Andrew Jackson marched further south and met the Creek Indians. My GGGG grandfather, Morgan Bryan(t), served as 1st Lieutenant under him and had close connections with him after the war. I have found documents that list James Randals posting bond for some of Morgan Bryant's children after Morgan died in 1817. I would be happy to share any information I have. -Jeff Bryant
