Dear Mary,
This is sort of indirct, but my Great Grandfather, Gottfried, had two brothers all living in or near Perinton and or Pennfield, just East of Rochester. Fredrick was the oldest and Philip was the middle one. The Fredrick you mention was born in 1869, my Fredrick was born before 1817. They are probably related, I can get some specific info on him and his family through my sister.
