From various records it appears that two Rapp brothers, Benjamin F. and Elijah M., sons of Barnet Rapp and Mary Wersler of PA, came to OH and became ministers. Elijah married Mary F. Sayers, and Benjamin married Letitia Mitchell, daughter of Richard and Rachel (White) Mitchell. Benjamin and Letitia had children Effie May, Willie and Gracie Rapp, born about 1860 through 1876 in IN and OH.

Benjamin was born 1833/34 (1880 census in Columbus Grove, Putnam County, OH, where he was censused as Raff or Ruff), so his father would have been of the right age to be the Barnet you mention born about 1897, presumably also the man that Jonathan Wert in your referenced post names as Barnett Rapp died 1863, buried in Delaware Township, Juniata County, PA.

I would be interested in exchanging information with anyone who might have more information on the Barnet/Benjamin line, and in particular with anyone knowing any details of the children of Benjamin and Letita.
