FYI - according to the following Ancestry Message Board thread, Gen. Jean Rapp did not have any surviving sons (one supposedly died at age 11), and the only descendants he had was through a daughter that married a Mr. Hope. Those that claim direct descendancy to Gen. Rapp through anyone else but his daughter will likely be disappointed to find out it is in error....
