I too would like to add my connection to this group. I am related to the Jacobs family in which there was William's first wife, Martha M. Jacobs, b. 1854 in Jefferson Co. East TN. Martha was a twin to Mary M. Jacobs who married William Griffin in 1881 in Madison Co., MO. The twins had another 7 siblings. Martha's parents were Jacob and Frances Caroline (Maze) Jacobs, both born in Jeff. Co., TN. I have been researching the Jacobs family for 4-5 years. My own Jacobs branch begins with the uncle of Jacob Jacobs of Dent Co., MO, also named Jacob Jacobs and who Jacob of Dent Co was named. My Jacob Jacobs migrated out of East TN's Jefferson Co. in about 1849 and into Pope County and eventually Jackson Counties in Southern Illinois. THAT Jacob would be my 3rd Great Grandfather on my mother's side of the family. Anyone wanting to communicate with me may do so at my email address here at GenForum. I have already written Mary Alice Rasor Lyons. Thank you.
