The $20 for this book is well-spent by any Ratchford in America as it will provide you with those who either are clear kin or are not the close kin you are looking for.
Ellen Ratchford Cox perhaps diminishes, and certainly unintentionally, the product of Mrs. Craig's scholarship, organization and diligence. There are some things available on the web (and this is certainly what the advancement in genealogy to which Ms. Cox referred), but much of the original wills, deeds, family Bibles and other originaldocuments still have to be found in their more normal locations, understood and properly characterized and categorized.
