Jerrilynn,
I am interested in all Ratcliffe lines, particularly the ones from Virginia.I have researched them for many years trying to find the predecessors of Gideon Ratcliffe (my ggggrandfather) who was born in 1784 in the Williamsburg area.I am also part of a DNA study.
I haven't had much luck finding my line but have learned a lot about many Ratliff/Ratcliff/Ratcliffe/Radcliffe etc. lines. Some I have a great deal of info on and others I have a good general knowledge of.
I corresponded with a woman who has reasearched the Charles Co line fairly extensively. If you will e-mail me direct, I will try to put you in touch with [email protected].
The reason I believe A.G. went to Kentucky is below:
On a deed I have the heirs of Alexander G. Ratcliffe are listed
as follows, Rackel E. Graham, Kitty M. Carrico, Rebecca Ratcliffe,
Mary J. Ratcliffe, Peter Ratcliffe and William Ratcliffe.
Is anyone searching this family, and would have any info. on
Kitty M. Carrico?
I know she was married to Henry F. Carrico, the son of
Samuel Carrico.
