The surname spelling tends to change through various generations. I may be able to obtain a photo of Jane Lula (or Lula Jane) from another line of her descendants. People seemed to change their given names at will in the old days, so it is difficult to be sure in which order her name was originally. As for her husband Jarred B. Millsaps, I have heard that he spent some prison time. A real family disgrace, I'm told, and hence the oral family history that he simpily vanished one day.

I have little information on daughter Isabelle Millsaps and her husband William McNelly. Perhaps you can fill me in there.
