I made a mistake in my reply to you earlier. Julia Rauscher (Charles' sister) married her distant cousin Samuel Roscher. Both Julia and Samuel had brothers named Joseph William and Julia and Samuel had a son and named him Joseph William Roscher (he passed away about 2 years ago around 90 years of age and he was a dentist). Your Great Great Great Grand Father was Yoseph Zev Rauscher. Zev is another name for Wolf and people who had the name Wolf in Europe Englishized it in the USA and often took on the name William. Yoseph is hebrew for Joseph. That's where the name Joseph William comes from. Your Great Great Great Grand Father, Yoseph Zev, was supposedly a dentist according to the family history of Julia's daughter in law, Annette Roscher (she lives in Florida).
