I have acquired a Rayburn family bible that turns out not to by my Rayburn family. This is the family of John Rayburn b 1837 Virginia. He married Sarah F. Frasure b 1844 Virginia. The bible has a lot of family info including names and dates for 17 children and many of their spouses. There is even a lock of hair on a page referring to Maggie Rayburn Keeney, wife of S.E. Keeney. I found census for the family in 1880 in Madison, Cedar Co., MO and 1870 in Lewis, Mason Co., WV. There was one child born in IL in about 1879 and twins (one of two sets!) born in MO in 1880.
I would like to see this in the hands of descendants. If this is yours and you are interested please contact me. I only spent $12 for it on ebay so only expect that and shipping to you in return. It is in pretty rough shape but cover and pages are intact with lots of handwritten notes.
