I have spent the past 48 hours doing some research on my family...and have hit a wall & need some help!
My father is David D. Rayburn, son of David Todd Rayburn, and grandson of William Alonzo Rayburn. My dad was born in McKenzie TN, as was my grandfather.
We are actually trying to trace the notes of our family having some Native American blood. We have talked with Uncle Junior (Alonzo & Clara Melton's son)and he reports that Alonzo was 50% Indian
Looking for:
David "Davie" Green (B @ 1870)
Sarah "Sallie" (Spring Creek) Green Rayborn (B @ 1865) Mother Sarah Rayborn (B @ 1836).
1920 census names these people all living with Lonzo & Clara-but can't find much more!
