Hi Jay,

I am new at any research in England, and am currently trying to help my cousin find information for her husband's line, which is "Rayment". His ancestor, "Charles H. Rayment" born c1847 in England, immigrated to the US around 1875 an married in Worcester Co., Mass., in 1877. His marriage record states his parents were Austin & Jane Rayment.
I found a free database on which names an Austin Rayment born c1804, who died in the St. Austell Dist. of Cornwall at the age of 75 in 1879.
Another free record of England & Wales, FreeBMD Birth Index shows a Richard Austin Rayment, born in the Truro Dist. of Cornwall, registered 1871 in the OCT-NOV-DEC. quarter. Not sure if this man is a grandson? of the elder Austin or not.
Just wondering if you might have any knowledge of this Austin Rayment born c1804 and his family (and if he is the Austin, father of Charles H. who went to America around 1875?
I see an Austin Rayment listed on the index of the 1871 England census, but I don't have access to that database to see the details. Hoping you might be able to access it and if so, if you wouldn't mind sharing the details with me.

Thanks so much!
