REA family from IRE to IL mid 1800s
Looking for information on the following REA family in Ireland and Illinois
Alexander REA married Jane MARTIN (1805-1863) on 05 November 1827 at Saul Parish, Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland. This family came to the US in 1840 or 1850 (depending on the source) and settled in Lawrence County, Illinois. Alex and Jane had a daughter, Sarah (born 15 Aug 1837 in Ireland), who married Thomas Forbes Hardacre in Lawrenceville, IL in 1868.Sarah was also known as "Sally Rea". Thomas and Sarah had a daughter, Nancy, who married my great-grandfather, Thomas Hayman WHITE, in Lawrenceville, IL in 1892.Thomas was the son of Joseph Trimble WHITE and Clarissa POWERS born in Lawrenceville, IL in 1865.Sarah died in 1911 and is buried in Lawrenceville, IL along with her husband and mother.
Need information on the REA family in Ireland and when they came to America, ship name, port, date, etc. Also need any information on this family after they arrived in the U.S.Did Sarah have any brothers and sisters?I have no information on Alexander Rea.Do not know where Alex is buried or when he died. Alex may have been a flax farmer in Ireland but really have no info on him other than his name and marriage date.
