I too have been interested in George Rea family of Lancaster Co., Pa.He seems to have had a brother, James Rea, b. about 1714 of Lancaster Co.One known son of this James Rea is William Rea, b. 11 Jun 1743.I think the wife of George Rea who died in 1745 in Lancaster Co., PA was Eleanor McClung, daughter of William McClung, b. abt 1706, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Can't remember why I think that so just use it for a possible lead.
John McClung, a son of William McClung, was born 1731, Coleraine, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. He married Elizabeth Alexander in 1754 in Rockridge Co., VA.Elizabeth Alexander was born 28 Oct 1735 in Scotland.
I think John Rea, wife [Mary?] who died in 1762, Lancaster Co., PA is possibly the son of George or James Rea.The name George Rea occurs in this line of Reas. John Rea d. 1762 had Robert Rea b. 1750,d, Jul 1799, wife Phoebe Way had Joshua Rea b. 1 Apr 1774 in Londonderry, Lancaster Co. PA, who had son, George Rea b. 18 Nov 1806.
