Nate; Do you have any other dares or relations on this family? I am sure that Mary Ann Ready is a descendant of Richard Ready that immigrated to Maryland in 1578. I have two different Mary Ann's in my file. The Basset or Bassett/Bassette are other spellings for this family.The first, Basset later changed the spelling to Bassett. The latter Bassette were French and are not the same family. There is a Ready family that was in Chemung, New York and scattered.
I will try to help you on this because I have Bassett's that married into my line of Bates in Maryland and Massachusetts in the early 16& 1700's
