Bill,
Yes my Henry Ready's middle name was Mitchell. He was my gg-grandfather (Paternal). He was married to a lady named Laura Norsworthy. I don't know his parents names but, I do know his mother brought him and his two brothers from Alabama to Texas after the Civil War. I think his father was killed during the war. My grandfather told me he thought his brothers names were Tobe, maybe short for something else, and
Abraham. My grandfather told me Grandmother Ready sailed out of Mobile Alabama with the three boys, a trunk and a milk cow to the Port Lavaca area and settled in Sweet Home community. The port was then called Port Indianola. If this at all sounds familiar please let me know. I am so excited. I have been working on this line for awhile and have hit a dead end. If this the same line what is you direct line. Thanks for responding.

Paige
