I too have a Michael Ready who married a Mary Duggan in Ireland and came through PEI in 1814. Does it match with your records that he died Dec 21, 1863? Mary Duggan was from Waterford, Ireland and died Jan 2nd, 1864. The only difference is in the spelling of Michael. In the record that I have from a Mary Elizabeth Ready (who was my GGrandmother), it lists her father's name as Meacheal A. Ready, and her grandfather's name (our hopeful match) as Maechael. Even both of those names are spelled slightly differently, so I don't know if it's correct, incorrect, or what. I have a little information further up also if you don't. My record in the line goes:
Roberta (Hottleman) Flaherty (mother),
Albert John Hottleman(grandfather),
Mary Elizabeth Ready (born in Darnley PEI 1883),
Meacheal A Ready (GGgrandfather),
Patrick Ready (married Margaret Pendgast), GGGgrandfather
Maechael (your Michael) Ready, GGGGgrandfatherwho married Mary Duggan.
Do you think we have a match?
