Bill,
You are entirely correct re George and Mary Paul Mason. I must have had a brain cramp! Mary was originally a Paul, married John Mason, he passed away and she married George in Boone County Mo on April 8,1829.They moved further west to Ray County, had eight children, including Squire Boone Phillips in 1835.Squire married his cousin Sarah C. Ready (d/o James L. and Nancy Phillips)before 1860 when Squire and Sarah along with other family members, including Readys, went to Leavenworth County, KS.Apparently George and Mary both died in the cholera epidemic in 1854 in Ray County. There are a number of Readys in Leavenworth Co. in the 1870, 1880 and 1900 Census around Easton and Alexandria Townships. Thanks for your note.I just was hoping you might have more data on George and Nancy's parents and where James L.'s parents came from in VA to see if all the parents had migrated to Ky together.
Thanks
John
