I am the grandaughter of Leander Roan Ready and Ella Mae Powell. I am trying to research my family history and would like to know if anyone has information on them. The information I have so far is that my great-grandfather was James Monroe Ready and great-grandmother was Martha Cupstid. My great-great grandfather was John Ready and my great-great grandmother was Janie Boyd. I know that John Ready served in the Civil War and he immigrated from Ireland. My grandparents lived in Monticello, MS and all other relatives were from parts of MS, LA, TN and AL. If any of you have information on my relatives, or can tell me how to learn more, please email me. Thank you.
