I'm seeking any information on Charles Ready's siblings and children with his wife, Sally Mason (marriage Aug 4, 1794 in Bedford CO, VA) with consent by Mary Dale Ready (widow of Isaac Ready) as Charles's mother.
I have other references that denote a William Mason who marries Jenny Ready in Campbell CO, VA in 1796, possibly the sister of Charles Ready.
I have other references that suggest that Mascilda Ready that married Littleberry Cox in Campbell CO, VA in 1796 may have been Charles's sister
I have found some long needed new evidence in my hunt for my Seaton Ready and his family of origin: I was wondering if Charles died between about 1812-1819 and if my Sally could be his widow:
1. Sally Ready, Widow, on the Green County, KY 1820 Census has a daughter, Martha, who, at 17, marries Elijah Christeson in Green County in 1821 by Sally Ready's consent, witnessed by Sally's son, Hiram Ready. Other son in the household, by theory, is Seaton Ready between 1-10. No other children are present. A James Ready marries a Nancy Philips in Adair County, KY where the Christeson's were from in 1819 and could possibly be another son of Sally's.
2. This family migrates to Crawford County (which becomes Pulaski County, MO) and are present on the 1830 Census there with Hiram Ready as the head of household, Elderly widow between 50-60, my Seaton, all ages matching progression from Green County, KY 1820 census. Elijah Christeson is their neighbor. Hiram disappears after this census and no further census or marriage records on him. Sally Ready, if she is the widow in this household, dies or remarries before 1840. My Seaton Ready is married and in Clark County Arkansas with a wife in 1840, though we have never been able to find his marriage. We have him on the 1850 and 1860 Cedar and Vernon County Census, probably with a second wife. The oral history is Seaton's first wife was a full Indian Maiden. No marriages have ever been found on him. In 1845 he returns to Pulaski County and buys a land patent there.
3. Research in Green County, KY indicates an Isham Reddy/Ready there who constantly witnesses court proceedings and sells and buys land. His wife is listed as Mary Ann __ Ready. He is on the 1810 Census and is in court records from 1807-1818, and then is gone. He would not be Sally's husband.
3. Littleberry Cox is 4 names up from Sally Ready on the 1820 Census.
Is Sally Ready the widow of Charles Ready and if so where did he die and did he have a will. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
