I am reposting this as a new post, since the thread I just added this to is from 1998!
I know I am a very much latecomer to this thread, but I am a direct descendant of the Richard-Nicholas Ready line... although from what I am reading here there may be some lingering doubt as to whether Nicholas is truly descended from the Richard Ready that came from Waterford on the St. George and I'd love to know if this has been confirmed!

Brady William Clark (01 Nov 1972, Longmont, CO)
My grandfather Melvin Ready spent his entire career on the Seattle Police Department, including marching in John F. Kennedy's Presidential Inauguration as a member of the SPD Drill Team. He just passed last spring.
I'd love any additional information about all of my Ready's from Creighton to Lain Ready Jr and Sr, as well as Brian, Nicholas and Richard.
Brady W. Clark
