I now (Feb. 2010) have much data on Moses and Ellen (Morse) Ready. Moses was captured in KY. during the Civil War.
He was confined to a prisoner camp in Johnsons Island Ohio. He died of pneumonia in 1865.
I have nine letters he wrote to his family while in prison.
