Hi Connie, I heard from Bill Ready that you are probably cousins. I am researching Isham Ready who resided in Amherst County, Virginia in the late 1790s, was in the War of 1812, and eventually resided in Hardin County, Kentucky and appears there on the 1820 census. He died after 1827 and his will was probated in Hardin County. His descendants were Henry H. Ready, Richard Ready, Patsy Ready, Nancy Ready and my ancestor, James Ready. I would love to share information with you and anyone else reading this.

One of James Ready's descendants has DNA tested but as yet he does not match anyone at all. Do you know if any other Ready males have DNA tested? This would be one sure way we could find out how we are all related.
