I have two jacob Reeps in my line. Jacob, sr. was one of the original settlers in Tioga County, PA. (The first PERMANENT settler.)Hw was born 1764 in Oley, Berks County, PA and was a Revolutionary War vet as was his father, Leonard, who was born in 1732 in Germany. His son, Jacob, was born in 1788 in Lawrenceville, PA and died therein 1829. His older brother, Peter, seems to have inherited the 400 acre farm so it's possible Jake jr. moved on. Peter Reep had 13 children and one son was named after his father and brother. That Jacob III would have been born between 1843-1847. Maybe his dates fit your search. There is no local record of him other than he was child #13 of Peter Reep.
