Here's a Reap - Gilroy connection....

My Great Aunt Mary Gilroy Eckert (b 1895 in Scranton) died as a widow , and the informant was a REAP.
M. B. Reap, of 508 Taylor Ave (this is in 1979)
Although perhaps she/he was "just" a neighbor (Mary Gilroy Eckert lived at 419 Taylor) I can't ignor the GILROY/REAP connection I've seen a few times here on the WWW. Anybody have any comments about how the GILROYS and REAPS connected?
