Sylvia,
Thank you for responding to the forum.
My grandfather Joseph REAR immigrated from England, finally settling in Appanoose County Iowa.He was born in England in 1859.My father told me his dad (Joseph) had 2 brothers who came over with him. Said one of the brothers went to Canada and settled there. The other brother went off somewhere & he never heard from him again.Unfortunatly he never told me the names of grandfathers brothers, maybe he didn't even know.At this point is why I am at such a deadend.I am checking out some other leads in hope that can find something. If anyone in your family has any further information they like to share I would be most appreciative. Thank you again for your post.

Have a nice day!
BILL REAR
