Sylvia,
Thank you again for replying. You just posted
some information that could be helpful. It said that Josephine REAR went backto Iowa,
around 1904 to 1910 to work in her Uncle Joe;s store. If Uncle Joe is Joseph REAR of
Brazil, Iowa, Appanoose county he was my grandfather. He ran a general store for there
for 35 yrs.Brazil, Iowa was a small coal mining town in the 1800's & early 1900's.

On grandfather Joseph's death certificate
it lists his mothers maiden name as Sarah
Holland. On the LDS site it shows a Henry
REAR married to a Sarah Holland 1844. It lists 8 children of which there is a Charles
REAR (your GGF ? ) and a ( Joseph REAR my GF?).Ask your mother if any of this checks out? I am not sure about the Henry REAR because Joseph's Death certificate shows an Edw as father.I am not sure about either one.
Thanks for sharing the information.

Have a nice day !
BILL REAR
