a friend of ours origins in canada montreal told us reardons up there sometimes abbreviated name since they did not want to be thought english. whether correctly or not i am not sure my email is pattir3101@aol.com it may not be what we hoped but eventually we hope to find the beginning of family tree.... best wishes patti
