Hi, Joann... The Reath's we come through actually spelled it variantly. The kids went with Reath, but the father appears to have used Roth. In their case, William Roth, who was on the same page as Caleb in 1840. William is gone (dead?) by 1850. The mother was Catherine McKee. I know of six kids... Margaret, John, Caleb, Martha, Isaac Nathaniel (aka Nathan), and Mary. I have the least info on Mary. Margaret, the oldest, was born in 1826. I do not know of a Ruth, but I'm going to revisit the 1840 census to see if another girl may have been in the household who was not accounted for. Thanks for the response. Scott
