Darlene: Is this Adam Reath by any chance the son of Adam (1743-1827) and Elizabeth (1757-1797) Reath of Bushmills, county Antrim, Ireland? Elizabeth died in Ireland, but Adam emigrated and settled in Philadelphia with two sons, Thomas and Samuel. A daughter of Adam and Elizabeth named Elizabeth (1785-1838) married Hugh Brown and emigrated with him, settling in Saratoga, NY. Some of their children ended up in Philadelphia as well.
