Could anyone tell me the story about this Sarah C. Reeves? And same for Martha Jane Fisher? They appear to have been in the family of the deceased son of Isaac Horton who was named William Horton. From searching the posts here at GenForum it appears that William was married to America Cheek. I haven't found any help about who this Sarah C. REEVES is though.
I posted a query on the GenForum RECORDS Lookup Request list asking for a legal definition of MINOR HEIRS in 1850 era Tennessee. Persons interested can see the answer to that query on that forum.
Thanks for any posts here. Linda McKee
