Can't help you with Reavill Family of Edwinstowe (which I believe is a suburb on the west side of Nottingham), but I was born in Nottingham (1939) and have ancestors from the Nottingham/Basford area for several generations. Let me know if you would like more information.
I lived in Nottingham for 19 years, then Cambridge for 6 years, and since then have been living in Milford (near Cincinnati) Ohio, USA. I visited Nottingham last April. Are you familiar with "Reavill's Yard" on Clumber street in Nottm? I have no idea as to the origin -- maybe you do.
