Al:I think your theory sounds quite on the mark.Except for that Orphans Court thing you sent me from PA - I think you either copied it wrong or Susannah and the younger c hildren were left off of it because they were in guardianship with ones who were given custody in Ohio. I am positive Leonard was Josephs father, I got that verified in another estate document from Wayne County.I just sent in my DAR application with that lineage so I will let you know what goes with that. DAR already had Leonard verified by others as a patriot. But Joseph appears in the PA census reports for 1800 and 1810, and his birthplace was the same as Leonards home in Fallowfield Washington County PA.Adam, Peter and Joseph all migrated to Wayne County OH the same time and lived close to each other and were mentioned in his estate record (he died without a will and I have about 30 pages of the estate settlement and disposal of his chattels.) Actually, I have no doubt of Josephs parentage.Joseph Ihrig was the original administrator and then Leonard Everly sued him in Common Pleas Court in Wayne Co. to take over the administration.I think that was related topart of that document you have from PA, but it originated in Wayne Co PA. I will read your document again, but I think the children mentioned were all the ones older than Elizabeth and were not Joseph/s birth children or were adults by then. And then in 1830, Rachel was living next to Adam Everly on the census record with those 5 younger children.
