We are indeed first cousins and it is very exciting to make contact. We have been corresponding the last few days outside the forum, but it is all possible because of the Redd Forum. I just wanted to post this response to acknowledge the value of the forum as a way to connect with family members, as well as fellow researchers. As you know, I am the son of the Agnes Redd that you mention. It is a rare and wonderful thing to make contact with a first cousin that you have never met.
