John Painter was reported to have married two Rachel Redd's. The first Rachel Redd born 1779 in Fredeick County, Va, was the daughter of Andrew ( Andreas Roth ) Redd and Elizabeth Hollingsworth, The second Rachel Redd, the daughter of George and Rachel Fawcett Redd. George was the son of Adam Redd ( Adam was the brother of Andrew Redd. The first Rachel was brought before the Women's Meeting of Hopewell Friends in 1804 for the reason of marrying out. Not sure if that meant divorce or marrying out of religion, probably the first because they were both of the Hopewell Friends religon, but not sure. The first Rachel and her son Ephraim Painter were written into Andrew Redd will, which gives me the indication that she and John Painter were divorced.
I have no knowledge of Eve Redd
