DNA testing on Nathaniel Redd's line?

Does anyone know if any dna testing has been done on the line back through Nathaniel Redd?

The chain I have down from Nathaniel Redd is:

Nathaniel Redd, m. Barbara Zook
Mary Ann Redd, m. Jacob Myers
George Myers m. Sarah Tombaugh
Lydia Myers, m. Francis Joseph Guittard

To do the dna test right, we need a 37 marker y-dna test done through Family Tree DNA (biggest databank) and its Redd family surname group (to get the group discount
price). It would test back along the direct paternal line from father to his father to his father, etc., through Nathaniel Redd and back many hundreds of years ago. It's the kind of test where you just brush the inside of your cheek.

Do you know of a possible test subject who is (1) a male (2) having the Redd surname and (3) descended from Nathaniel Redd? Any female descendant can recruit her Redd-surname brother, father, uncle, cousin, etc. because she doesn't carry the y dna.

It could help us confirm and extend the previous Redd research tracing back to the immigrant ancestor and jumping back across the pond to find perhaps some matches there to our Redd cousins.

It could also determine which of the the Redd lines are related, and which aren't, on both sides of the pond.

Also, another $15 could run the results through the Genographic project of National Geographic and Family Tree DNA and get some fascinating information on deep ancestral
origins.

I'd be happy to share in the costs, and probably others would as well.
