Redd family descendants of different Redd lines should be informed that Nathaniel Redd line descendants have arranged for two 59-marker y-dna tests with the leading testing company. Results are expected within perhaps 5-7 weeks.
Other Redd lines are also invited to submit their own test kits -- the cheek-scraping kind ordered on-line -- no blood involved - no medical information reported or recorded.
You may be able to -
jump over your brick wall,
see what matches you may find with other Redds who have already tested,
learn what country your ancestors probably came from,
prove you are part of a Redd line that can trace back to the old country,
find additional cousins in the US and in the old country,
learn your ancient ancestral origins, and
learn additional leads to help focus your Redd tracing research on the most productive names, places, and times.
