John Redd, b 1820 and his wife Elizabeth had a daughter named Kezia b 1863 - 13th of their fourteen children. All I have is the 1870 census for Edgefield County, South Carolina -- she is 7 years old. She is NOT in the 1880 Aiken County census for John Redd - either she has married, is living away from home or has died. Do you have a location for the family?

Do any of the other names of John Redd's children sound familiar? Do you have any names or dates (approximate)?

John Redd b 1820 also had a son named John b 1850 - believe he married Olive and had Sarah 1873 and Mary 1878. Probably other children.

John Redd's (1820) son Basford Redd came to Texas between 1880 and 1889 with his family and did not return to South Carolina to live. One, possibly, more of Baford's children did return to South Carolina.

Please let me know if anything seems familiar.
